Robert Lewandowski has told Barcelona that he would be willing to join them in the summer, Per Reports.
The Poland striker’s relationship with Bayern Munich has deteriorated in recent contract renewal talks and he isn’t pleased with only being offered a one-year contract extension from them.
Lewandowski has said yes to joining Xavi Hernandez’s side next season, with Barca now planning on making an official move for him.
But, Bayern won’t allow Lewandowski – whose contract with them expires in 2023 – to leave for cheap and could demand as much as €65m for him.
The Polish striker also wants a three-four year contract from Barca to join them.
The La Liga giants are hunting for a top-quality striker in the summer and are likely to pursue a move for Lewandowski after realizing that Erling Haaland might be Man City bound.
