KAIZER CHIEFS ‘SACK’ ANOTHER BAXTER
The Club and goalkeeper Coach Lee Baxter are going their separate ways. Lee arrived at Chiefs in February 2018 and worked with a number of Head Coaches and goalkeepers. Thank you and all the best Mr Baxter!
Kaizer Chiefs have officially parted ways with goalkeeper coach Lee Baxter after four years at the Soweto giants.

Baxter had been expected to leave Chiefs ever since the club sacked his father and then coach Stuart Baxter.
The appointment of former goalkeeper Aubrey Mathibe as the club’s goalkeeper coach all but confirmed Baxter’s fate.

The 35-year-old had with at Chiefs since 2018 following two-year stint with Danish side Aarhus Gymnastikforening (AFG).
Lee also had a spell with SuperSport United in 2016, and he was called up to the Bafana Bafana camp to assist with the coaching the goalkeepers.

But before all the above mentioned stints, Lee followed his father Stuart to Turkish side Gençlerbirliği in 2015.
However, he left the club at the same time as his Stuart who was fired barely three months into the job at Gençlerbirliği.
