The mighty Amakhosi will be stepping out into the field to play three matches within side was just starting to fly before the disruption that was the Glamour Boys had lost only one match from seven games, which included five wins. Unfortunately, Amakhosi have to start all over this month.

RIGHT WING-BACK – Njabulo Blom
The talented defender-come-midfielder is one of the first names on coach Stuart Baxter’s team sheet.
Blom is set to make his 23rd appearance across all competitions this term having been hailed as the best right-back in the PSL by Baxter.
LEFT WING-BACK – Reeve Frosler
Hlanti’s long-term injury has given Frosler a chance to re-cement his place in the starting line-up.
Frosler’s ability to cut inside and take powerful shots with his stronger right foot will make him a threat against Matsatsantsa.
CENTRAL DEFENDER – Siyabonga Ngezana
The Chiefs academy was brought in to replace Erick Mathoho against Chippa United on April 2 after the latter made a costly mistake against Lamontville Golden Arrows on April 5.
Ngezana hasn’t put a foot wrong and he is expected to make his third successive start for the Soweto giants.
CENTRAL DEFENDER – Austin Dube
The lanky defender has made the left side of Chiefs’ three-man central defence his own since February this year.
Dube’s aerial prowess has been important for the Glamour Boys when they defend set-pieces.
CENTRAL DEFENDER – Ramahwle Mphahlele
The experienced defender is a leader who marshals the Glamour Boys’ defence having overcome his injury woes.
Mphahlele’s consistent performances have kept Daniel Cardoso on the bench.
CENTRAL MIDFIELDER – Alexander Cole
The 32-year-old midfield general remains Baxter’s first-choice midfielder having recovered from his shoulder injury.
Cole will be bracing himself for a battle against SuperSport’s promising central midfielder Jamie Webber.
CENTRAL MIDFIELDER – Nkosingiphile Ngcobo
The highly-rated midfielder changed the complexion of the game against Galaxy and he came close to scoring a late winning goal for Chiefs.
Ngocbo could be rewarded with a starting berth in this Gauteng Derby encounter.
RIGHT FORWARD – Bernard Parker
The Chiefs vice-captain’s versatility has seen him play regularly having operated a midfielder, striker and winger this season.
Parker will be hoping to lead the Soweto giants to their 11th win of the season.
LEFT FORWARD – Khama Billiat
Chiefs struggled against Galaxy and they failed to score with Billiat absent.
Billiat is Amakhosi’s joint-top scorer with six goals in the league and will be keen to add to his tally against Matsatsantsa.
